Shakti Sound is aiming to create something that has yet to be done. We see the niche and we are called to fill it. We are a collaborative team of established womxn electronic music producers and DJs providing training for women in music production in a deeply immersive environment. We offer rich and diverse content that provides skills-based training and personal empowerment and transformation.

On a technical level women will learn basic and intermediate skills in Ableton, Logic and Cubase, how to get clear on what they want to create, the recording process, how to make various style bpm music and beats, how to work with sound design and how to mix and master their track.

​

We also aim to offer training around women’s empowerment, how to showcase your personal message in your music, building confidence and overcoming blocks as a woman, business and marketing, tools to stay productive and creative, and how to create the stage presence and storylines each artist desires to transfer to her audience.

We symbolize sisterhood and feminine synergy in a way that many of us have never experienced. So in that we know our participants are in for a deeply transformative experience. We are women of many different ethnicities coming together to represent inclusivity and shared purpose. We strive to create a strong network of women in the industry that places the value of handing a woman more opportunities much higher than competing with her.

In fact we see that if this movement continues to take hold in all of its forms, more women will have the confidence to enter into the industry, women will get booked more often at equal stature as male producers, women will experience no need to compete but enjoy the experience of being a part of something much bigger than themselves.

Shakti Sound is not only an immersion/ retreat. We are ready and capable to create a movement around this that also prioritizes accessibility and representation of many cultures, demographics and backgrounds in our trainings.
